For me, this Ancestral tour to France was the best most memorable tour I've ever taken. We were so well welcomed every place we visited. Really heart warming. People I traveled with were delightfully friendly, kind and courteous. Each place we vsited remains as a very special place in my heart. Accomodations as well as food - music, special entertainment - were nice as I've ever had. I made the trip once, but it's on of those trips where one just doesn't get enough, leaves one with a longing to return and relive it all. There is not one day that fell"sort of the mark" . Since most of all I ever heard about "Louisiana Cajuns" was either wrong or incomplete, this trip not only filled in the blanks but broadend my knowledge of my wonderful heritage of which I am so pround. Left me hungry to learn more. I highly recommend this trip. For me, it was one of those wonders of the world.

We booked our trip thru Seitz Travel for the Bourgeois, Nova Scota tour 2019. It was a great tour. Cynthia had a fixed price for airfare to and from Moncton. In searching for airfare through the airlines and other websites, all the prices varied considerably. I was skeptical, so after using Seitzt Travel, I felt comfortable with the pricing given and the itnierary. Thanks again Cynthia

Once set in the milieu one began to understand better how our past family courageously moved forward to make a new life in the Acadian Settlements or in Louisiana if they had a choice or in the New England settlements.

This trip was beyond my expectations. I was a little worried that I was not an Acadian and also did not speak much French. Had an amazing trip. I came out understanding the French culture and Acadian history much better. My fellow travelers became great friends whom I'll treasure for the rest of my life. Claude and Cynthia were great guides always making sure everyone was safe and kept together and answered all questions. I highly recommend the French Acadian Tour.

Malageuenos Heritage Tour
If your heritage includes Malaguenos, do not miss this trip. And, even if it doesn't, go anyway! You won't be disappointed. Southern Spain is ruggedly beautiful and clean. The people are friendly and the food is delicious. The climate, terrain and vegetation are similar to Californi. Historically rich, architecturally diverse and artistically and culturally significant, there is something for everyone. Weex[eroemced the best of each area we visited. Our travel agent and tour guide handled all of the details and provided a variety of experiences that related to the history of the area as well as our ancestors. We only needed to show up and enjoy. And we did. Thank you for the excellent adventure.
"I found the places where those I knew had come from, but I also found more that I didn't even know existed as well as the places where they live. It's, it's just been really great. I came with one hope in mind. I satisfied that hope, but I got undreamed of hopes fulfilled, so it was really, really good. we had a pleasurable time. It was an amazing trip of a lifetime in so many ways! It's impossible to pick out just one or two parts to mention specifically, as it was ALL wonderful and so memorable. Knowing I was walking in the footsteps of my ancestors -- and doing so with an entire group of such delightful other Acadian descendants (and "honorary Acadian descendants" by association or interest!) -- was incredibly moving and special! Many kudos to our exceptional guides, assistants, and driver --Claude, Anne-Christine, Cynthia, Natalie, and Stephane -- and to all the warm, gracious, friendly locals we met along the way!

The team always made us feel so cared for! Emotionally and physically! Being lovingly nurtured was special for me.
Wonderful historical info complied with love in our book. I have read it prolly a dozen times already and have sent screenshots of info for our children to read.
Walking in the places where our ancestors lived for a moment in time was overwhelming at times. Randy and I imagined while visiting Naquin Farm No. 10 that we could see and hear our gggggreatfrandparents as children running, squealing, and playing on the farm. It was amazing.
As Denis mentioned the burial of children under the portico at the church in St. Suliac. I have found my info 2 children born to Charles and Anne in St. Sulaic that are probably buried with the other children. Jeanne-Marguerite born April 5, 1768 and baptized April 6, 1768. She died at the age of 6 1/2 months on October 22, 1768 and was buried the same day at St.Suliac. And Joseph - Suliac born June 18, 1773 baptized June 19, 1773. He was 15 days old on July 3, 1773 and buried July 4, 1773 at St. Suliac.
I cry hard.
I don't even know where to begin with the loving relationships that were built over a 2 week period! As cousins we all felt tremendous sorrow, respect and amazement regarding the unthinkable journey of our ancestors. So much loss of life and dreams. And as Denis said "we are here!"
I smile very often remembering our times together! Fun times! Goofy times! Treasured times. Amazing Times. Emotional times! Inspiring times!

"We had great tour guides in all various cities as well as bus tours through the countryside, which is what I really enjoyed the most because I've been to Paris, I've been to London, I've been to all the big cities in Europe, but I've never been to small towns that this tour afforded us to go on and so it got to I got to see a different perspective of both Germany, France, Luxembourg, as well as Switzerland and it's been thoroughly enjoyable and I would definitely go on another tour that Cynthia put together, in the future. "
