Heritage Tours by Seitz Travel was founded in 2018 by Cynthia and Roy Seitz of Houma, Louisiana.  

 

Join Cynthia Breaux Seitz, a passionate descendant of various cultures, on a fascinating journey to discover the immigrant groups of Louisiana. Inspired by her own rich Cajun, Spanish, Italian, Irish, and German heritage, Cynthia now brings an immersive experience to explore the diverse roots that make Louisiana vibrant and unique. Cynthia is the owner/operator of Heritage Tours by Seitz Travel. Her mission is to provide custom heritage tours to the motherlands of the various ethnic groups of the people of Louisiana.  Seitz Travel is currently offering a heritage tour to Malaga, Spain; Canary Islands, Spain; France, where the Acadians came from, Germany, France, Luxemburg, and Switzerland where the Germans of the German Coast came from, and Sicily, Italy.

Cynthia has a BA in Education and a Minor in French from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Roy has a BA in Computer Science and a Minor in Math from Nicholls State University.  He helps to organize and operate all of the tours, but his main passion is math making him the perfect bookkeeper for their business.

Cynthia and Roy are both members of CLIA and have studied tour management at the International Tour Management Institute. She was mentored by Shanterria Early and Claude Boudreau.
